IPL10: Delhi Daredevils Preview

Delhi Daredevils can be said as most boring team in IPL. They undoubtedly stand last in IPL history. They have never reached final in IPl history. Their fortunes didn’t change even Rahul Dravid mentored the team last year. Every year they come up with different plan which fail in reality. They ended at the bottom of the table in three seasons Like all the years before , they have bought couple of impact players in the team

Bad news before the start of IPL.

There is bad news for Delhi even before the start of IPL. their star player from south Africa, Quinton De kock, is ruled out from IPL due to injury. Now they highly rely on Jp Duminy. Like previous year, this year also Delhi dare devils is South Africa centric.

Best IPl Performance

DD managed to reach semi finals in 2006,2009,2012.

Over sees players

  • Corey Anderson.
  • JP Duminy.
  • Carlos Braithwaite
  • Sam billings.
  • Angelo Mathews.
  • Kagiso Rabada
  • Pat Cummins.
  • Chris Morris

Zaheer khan will lead the side. He has proved that he has leadership skills year.

Strength

Oversees players is their definite strength. Most of them being all-rounder’s will bea  huge advantage for them. New Entrant in the line up is Kagiso Rabada from South Africa. He won the player of the year for south Africa for the year 2016. They don’t have concern in bowling. Absence of Zaheer Khan might seriously dent Delhi’s confidence. If Zaheer Khan is able to play throughout the season, their bowling will 100% competitive. Delhi has the best young local talent. Sanju Samson, Karun Nair, Rishab Pant Shreyas Ayer are budding super stars in Indian Cricket.

Weakness

Changing team consistently might affect coordination Delhi players. Most of them might not feel they belong in the tea. Their bowling is trong with Shammi, Zaheer, Mishra and Tahir.

Expectations

Delhi fans would be satisfied even their favorite team manages to play offs.

Dharmasala:Ind vs Australia Live score

  • Big test for team India.
  • Fourth test starts from today.
  • Dharamsala will make its debut test.
  • Kohli doubtful.

Big shock for India

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is uncertain to play the final test due to injury. In his absence, Ajinkay Rehane will lead India team at Dharmasala. India won each and every series they have played on home soil in the last four years. Now India will have a challenge in their hands.

India received a shock from Australia who came as underdogs in the first test. Though Australia lost in second test, they escaped from a loss in third test. They will definitely stand a chance to clinch  in the absence of Virat Kohli.

  • This is by far the worst performance from virat Koli. His highest score on this tour is 15 at an average of 9.2. His previous worst average was against England in which he score at an average of 13.4.
  • Dharamasala is India’s 27th test venue.
  • Ashwin picked 78 wickets in this season. He is one wicket away to become leading wicket taker in a perticular seaon. He is currently sharing the record with dale Steyn(78).

By Friday evening, Pitch is certain to help pacers. But curators might cut the grass early in the  morning and make pitch suitable for spinners  .If that is the case, Both teams will contemplate about including three spinners. When last tome Dharmasala hosted a T20 match during world cup. Pitch assisted spinners.

Sunny Gavasker said that there is not much of a difference between the side. Especially when India is playing without their regular skipper Virat Kohli. He is ecpecting Virat to play this cricial test match even he is 70 % fit. Who will replace Kohli is a question. Bhuvaneswar Kumar might play in place of Ishant Sharma.

Cricinfo Prediction

Team Chasing will win.

Steve Smith to top score in First innings.

Ranchi test: Live score card

• Smith and Maxwel score centuries.
• Australia eying huge score.
• Australia’s score is 299/4 at the stumps of day 2.

Will Steve smith score a Double?

Ball did not spun unlike at Pune, It did not test batsmen like it tested on Bangalore. Ranchi, which hosted international match for the first time, gave a great welcome to the Aussie team. After accumulating huge confidence from the victory in second test, India nerves started shivering again.Maxwell and Steven smith placed Australia in commanding position at the end first day of third test. Australia are inching towards big score with their partnership. Virat Kohli was injured on day while chasing a ball from reaching boundary.

India did not had a bad start to test match. They were able to pick three wickets in first session of day 1. David Warner ,who looked set, hit a ball straight back to Jadejas and opened the gates for Aussie line up. Matt Renshaw was unable to capitalize the start he got. He chased the ball iutside off stump and got caught at slips. Shaun Marsh once again failed to make an impact on this tour. Peter Handscomb stayed for a while at the crease with th skipper, got caught in front of wickets to Umesh Yadav. Maxwell ,Who replaced injured Mitchell Marsh ,came in at no 6 . Then the real trouble started for Indians. Maxwell and smith played on till stumps with out taking much damage. Umesh Yadav Picked up two wickets while Jadeja and Ashwin picked a wicket each. Ishant Sharma was wicket less on day 1.

Maxwell scored 63 runs of the 105 runs scored on Day 1 of third test. India would like to take advantage of early hours of day 2 .If not, Aussies will certainly reach 500 and rule out any probable chances of losing a test match. If Virat doesn’t come out to bat ,Aussies will be huge favorites to win the test Match
