India VS Sri lanka Fourth ODI Preview

India VS Srilanka Fourth ODI Preview,Scorecard

Even after losing the series, Hosts have a purpose to play for. They cannot afford to lose any of the final two games to directly Qualify for the 2019 champions cup. With the momentum they are on, it seems next to impossible. They were no match to Indian team in any department. In the era where 300 is a modest total, Srilanka never touched 250 in the ODI series. In all the three ODI’s srilanka batted first. May be they will be chasing in fourth ODI because India would also like vet their defending skills. Akhila Dhanunjaya is the only positive vibe Srilanka had in this tour so far. Even Lasith malinga failed to make Indian batsmen struggle.

Skipper Virat Kohli already mentioned post match conference  that he would experiment with team composition as they have won the series already.  He said he wanted to know the form status of his bench. So many changes can be anticipated from Indian side. First change we assume is Rohit Sharma being replaced. Rohit Sharma might get rest and Ajinkya Rehane open the batting. Other two changes we anticipate are Mohammed Shammi and Umesh Yadav getting a game in place of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvaneswar Kumar. Shradhul Thakur might wear his first ODI cap for ODI.

Dhoni to play his 300th ODI

Dhoni will achieve a rare feet on Thursday. Dhoni, one the legends Indian team has ever produced, is going to play his 300th ODI. He has played a crucial role in last two ODI’s. He once again proved that he is master at finishing games. He managed to put on a century run partnership with a number 9 position in to win a game in second ODI. Even in third ODI he built an 157 run partnership with Rohit Sharma. Dhoni is also one stumping away from one hundred stumpings.

cricinfo predictions

India to bat first.

Virat Kohli will score century.

India VS Srilanka Score card,Predictions

Easy victories…Players in exceptional form..high competition among team members..opposition not been able to compete..Everything happened in favor of India so far..India will look to wrap up the series on Sunday. Srilanka could not capitalize on the failure of Indian batting line up on Thursday.

India are still undefeated in the series. After losing test series with 3-0 margin, Srilanka are in verge of losing ODI series also. Shikhar dhawan had a start in second ODI but did not make it big as he did in Firs ODI. He Scored unbeaten 131 in first ODI. He fell prey to miraculous catch by  Angelo Mathews at leg slip. Rohit Sharma who was runout in first ODI in unusual way, scored a half century in second ODI. Collapse of Indian batting started with his wicket. He was caught leg before of Dhanunjaya’s googly. Though he used DRS, it went in vein. He along with Shikhar Dhawan registered another century partnership for first wicket. Jadhav was promoted by kohli, move which ended as failure. Kohli, Rahul were dismissed exactly in similar fashion how Rahul is dismissed. Pandya, injured while Srilankan innings, could not help Dhobi in finishing of the match.Axar Patel also was caught leg before of Akhil Dhanunjaya’s off spinner.

Srilanka

Lahiru thirumane is expected to play in place of Dhanuska Gunathilaka, who was injured while fielding in second ODI.So thirumane will open with Niroshan Dickwella.. If Srilanka wish to qualify directly for 2019 world cup, they should win in at least two games in this series. Else they will not end up in top eight position.

Pitch and conditions

Pallekella pitch is spin friendly pitch. Rain cannot be ruled out completely. But there are reserve days available for all the matches in the Which ever team wins the toss will opt to bat first. As it would be difficult to bat under lights at Pallekelle

Prediction

India to win by Huge margin.

Rohit Sharma to score century.

Dhaka: Australia Vs Bangladesh Live scorecard

Australia Vs Bangladesh first test Preview

Australia arrived to subcontinent on a long tour. They will play against India after the series against Bangladesh. Big question is, If Australia’s preparation is Enough. Before arriving in Bangladesh ,ACB arranged practise camp in Darwin, where climate is similar to Bangladesh. This would definitely help Australians players to acclimatize to the climate. But are they prepared to counter the spin as they hardly had any practise matches after coming to Bangladesh.

Match facts

Dhaka will host the first test.

catch all the live action from 930 IST.

Second is from fouth of september.

Is another white wash on the cards?

Bangladesh aren’t the side one would want to be complacent against. Especially after Australia lost their dominance in world cricket. They are not even in the top three test rankings. Sakhib believes a white was is possible as they recently did against some mighty nations at home. Mirpur is best suited for spinners and both team are expected to load their teams with spinners

Changes

Usman Khawaja is set to return into the side after eight months hiatus. This can be said as move made keeping Indian tour in mind. Nathon Lyon is by far the best wicket player in Australia. Ashton Agar along with Steven o Keefe also visited Bangladesh. Australia have there tradition of announcing their side on the day before of test match. Aston Agar will share spin respocibilities with Nathon Lyon. Hazlewood along with Pat Cummins will share pace responsibilities. We know that Bangladesh pitches are well suited for finger spinners than wrist spinners. Peter Handscomb might get nod ahead of Mathew wade. This gives Steven smith privilege of playing maxi at no6. Maxwell, is another spin, could give Steven smith additional option.

Cricinfo Predictions

Bangladesh to register historic win.

David Warner to score hundred.

Nathon lyon to pick five wicket haul.

England VS West Indies Scorecard, Preview

England VS West Indies Preview

England will move from Edgbaston to play second test against visitors, West Indies. Caribbean fans are utterly disappointed with their teams performance in first test at Edgebaston. Visitors failed to make hosts bat twice in the test .Alaister cook scored double century in the test match. He is the most probable cricketer to have any chance of becoming leading run scorer surpassing legend, Sachin Tendulkar . England won the first test by an innings and 209 runs, which is rare. West Indies lost 19 of their 20 wickets in a single day.

Match facts

Leeds will host the second test.

call all the live action on Start sports select HD2 from 3PM IST.

Predictions

Alaister cook to score century.

England are expected to win without wasting too much energy.

West Indies are inexperienced side, but this should not be an excuse when you are playing at international level. Critics wonder why Jason Holder is playing in the side. He is neither a great leader nor fit to play in team. Stuart law is also to be blamed for not preparing the team.  Joe root had an incredible start to his captaincy. England team core strength lie in their batting order. With top class opener and world class wicketkeeper along with middle order . If there is any slot open England, It would be opening along with Alaister cook. A win in this test match will do for England as this is a three match series.

Changes in team

Chris woakes, who failed to recover from Injury for first test, has recovered and is available to play for second test. Not too many changes are expected from West India side either as West Indies selectors have immense faith in their youngsters. England are adapting rotation policy for their players. Roland James, unfortunately has to sit out to accommodate Chri Woakes in the side.

Second ODI: India VS Srilanka Live score,Preview

Cricinfo scores Score card

There is lot of competition in Indian team. Players who scored 300 also could not held on to their position. Even Ajinkya Rehane ,who was man of the match in Previous series, was not able to feature in final eleven. Dhawan has said that it won’t be too long to be expelled from team when you are not performing. This statement is not exaggerating considering current situation of Indian team.

Cricnifo Prediction

India to win in second ODI against Srilanka.

Hardhik Pandya to score a century.

Couple of months back, Dhawan was struggling with form. He retained form in ICC champions trophy and continued it in test series against Srilanka. He also carried it into the first match held on sunday by scoring a century. KL Rahul, who grew as a permanent  player in the squad, also missed out previous season due to injury. He announced his form in the second test against Srilinka though he did not play in first test due to illness. This gives huge competition among DHawan, Rohit and Rahul for opening two slots. But KL Rahul is known to adapt playing at any number. So he is pushed to middle order. Ajinkya Rehane is less aggressive compared to other players, which can be said as main reason for him not playing in the side. Manish Pandey crendetials are well known.

Dhoni is no exemption

Dhoni himself is facing lot of competition from youngsters. It is a fact that Dhoni is not playing to his full potential in the last couple of years. With youngsters like Pant and Sanju Samson lurking on bench are putting Dhoni’s career at stake. As Kedhar Jadhav and Hardhik Pandya lost cemented their place, eventually Senior players like Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina had to sacrifice their spots. As Bumrah and Bhuvi are in form of their lives, Umesh and Shammi  weren’t able get enough chances. None of the players except Kohli are in a position to take their places for granted.

England Vs West Indies Live score card,Preview

England will participate in a three test series affair against West Indies . England recently outplayed South Africa with a 3-1 result at home. What’s more significant about the test match is that this test match is a day and night test mach. Edgbaston will host the first test match. Moen Ali played a significant role with both bat and ball against South Africa. He is confident that his performance will go with the flow with pink ball as well.

Mark Stoneman is set to make Debut

England Skipper Joe Root has announced that England will have a debutant in this test match. Mark stoneman is set to make debut for the first test. He is included in the team at the expense of Keton Jennings. Although they England side id hot favourites, they dont want to be complacent against windies. Windies have experience with pink ball more than England. West Indies were involved in first ever  pink ball series held, which they played against England. Stoneman is the 12th opening partner to Alasiter cook ,while Andrew Strauss being the first one. Second test will be held at Headingly from 25 of this month. Bairsow has become regular in test squad though he is facing stiff competition with Jos Butler in short formats. Stokes is the serious threat to West Indies. He can be adjudges as current best all rounder in the test format.

Windies are not a clear threat anymore in the test format unlike their shorter version team. Their most potent players are involved in Carribean Premiere league back home. Their Pace bowling is definitely is on par with England side’s. Kemar Roach will lead the pack consisting of Shanon Gabriel and A Joseph. Most of the players who could staright away fit in the side opted to involve in CPL.
