India still holds number one spot is test Ranking. But they are not taking Bangladesh lightly. Bangladesh couldn’t pick up eight wickets collectively by eight bowlers against India A in practise match. They have not been able to put on good batting performance also. Still India are not Complacent against Bangladesh. Bangladesh removed their minnows image long back. Now they have evolved into strong team at home. In current scenario ,Bangladesh cannot be taken lightly especially on subcontinent pitches.
Kuldeep Yadav to make his Debut?
Amit Mishra is ruled out from the lone test due to injury. He is replaced by leftie kuldeep yadav. Medical team advised him to take 3 weeks rest. Mishra injured his knee While fielding in a ODI against India. Kuldeep is 22 years old. Kuledep yadav is well known when he represented KKR in Ipl. Kuldeep picked up 81 wickets at an average of 33 in 22 tests .Though he was picked up for India in the past, he couldn’t make a debut. Bangladesh had put on a disappointing performance when they toured NZ recently. India are playing kiwis with full strength.
Bangladesh has not won a match in the last eight games they played. They have strong batting and quality bowling. Sakhib ul hasan scored a double ton on that tour. Mushfiqur Rahim also scored a 150 on that test match. conditions in Bangladesh and India are very much similar. Uppal will host the lone test in the series. Uppal has been a lucky venue or India. They have 2 out of three test matches played on this wicket. And the other test has ended as a draw. First test played in Uppal was between India and New Zealand. both teams manages a draw on that test match. Second ever test was also against New Zealand. But on this occasion India managed a victory with humongous margin. they won by inning and 115 runs. Ravi Ashwin made his debut on this ground.
