On Sunday ,Krunal Panday had an unforgettable outing against DD at Vishakhapatnam. He destroyed DD bowlers , Especially spinners ,and kept MI in contention for the playoffs. His 80 runs came off just 39 balls which included 13 boundaries. He was adjudged as man of the match without any doubt.

MI Indians lost the toss and were asked to bat. Toss became Insignificant as Rohit Sharma said that he would have batted anyways .Mumbai tried its fifth batting combination yesterday with Guptil and Rohit. MI had to rest Tim southee in order to bring Martin Guptill as only four oversees players are allowed. They rested Unmakt Chand and brought in RP Singh to compensate vacuum  of Tim Southee.

MI overcame their opening woes with their new combination. Guptil and Rohit gave a steady start which can be accounted as initial success. MI once again tinkered their batting by sending Krunal Pandya at no3. MI think tank has shown its affinity towards pinch hitting throughout the season. DD were never in the game since Krunal pandya arrived at the crease. His Century partnership with Martin Guptil can be said as the turning point of the match.
