None of the players other than Kohli played English bowlers with content. Even kohli did not play England good enough to escape criticism. India faced it’s worst ever victory under kohli. This is the first time kohli has faced two consecutive defeat as captain in his career. Dinesh Karthik is the one most likely to be axed first. Rishabh pant will make debut if so. But it would be a tough debut to carrer. Post match 2 Kohli has admitted that India did not deserve to win. Shikhar Dhawan might get a chance to in place of M Vijay.Rehane is also couple of bad innings away to lose his place
Statistics
Ishant Sharma is five wickets away complete 250 wickets in test career.
Average of top 3 batmen is 9.83 in this series.

Lords: England Vs India Second test

  • WIll India level the series
  • Ben Stokes not available for second test match.
  • Lords is a batting paradise.

Though first test at Edgbaston concluded in four days, it is one of the best test matches we had in recent times.  Both teams had equal oppertunities to clinch the match till the last moment. At the end of the day we have to admit that better team had won the teset. Keeping Kohli apart, Indian batting order doesnt deserve to win the test match.  At certain point Kohli alone looked sufficient tto tackle English attack. Edgebaston continued to be unlucky for Indian team.

Where is the second test match between England and India be held?

Historic lords will hold the second of five test series between India and England.

Will Rehane perform on his lucky turf?

Rehane deserved to be dropped after his pathetic shoe in two innings, But he is the only Indian batsmen in Indian to have a century at lords. This could be on Kohli’s radar as well. Cheteswar Pujara might be in playing eleven. If he sneakes in , Kl Rahul might have to compromise. India might tempt to play Chahal or Kuldeep considering the pitch.

Will England continue domination without Ben Stokes?

Ben Stokes unavailability is a big setback for England team. Which puts extra onus on other senior pro’s like joe root. It is certain that Ollie pope shall make his debut. He is most likely to come at No.4,which is usually joe root place. But in order to maintain balance Root should come at no.3. Chris Woakes or Moen Ali will come only after assesing the pitch conditions.

England did not taste victory at lords since 2011. Their last victory was against India in 2011. Since them England has lost three games against subcontinent nations and managed to finish two games in a draw.

Match Predictions

Its one of the venues where draw is always on the cards. So with both the teams batting so strong, Draw is most likely to be result.
