ICC Champions Trophy: England Vs Bangladesh preview, Score

England VS Bangladesh Preview

In the curtain raiser, Bangladesh will play against the England, the hosts. England are the hot favourites for the tournament. Modern Day England side is second to none in destructive batting.

Catch live cricket score Here

Veune:LORDS,UK.

England

England are coming after a series victory against south Africa, current no1 side, just prior to the tournament. batting is always been their stronger suit. Recently England’s bowling caught up to their batting. Still they have concerns. Their opener Jason Roy in not in best of his form. He  only score a half century in his last twelve inning. Moen Ali, who is regular 7, blasted 77 in just 53 balls in first game of ODI against Proteas. This reflects depth in their batting. Chris woakes ,who had a niggle, has recovered and should be available for the ICC opener. Sam Billings and Jhonny Bairstow are lurking for Jason Roy’s place. Selectors might take harsh calls if Roy fails in the group games.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh Couldn’t have worst result just before the start of campaign. They lost against Indian in the warm up by a huge margin. Though their key players did not take part, is it an unpardonable effort. Post 2015 world cup, Bangladesh achieved a lot in intl cricket under the leadership of Mushrafe Mortaza.. Sakhib hardly bowled in warmup game. But he will surely bowl it his 10 overs. Mehadi Hasan Miraz can be the game changer for them. He is been consistent over the last couple years. England pitches are taylr made for him. Tamim should take the extra onus and lead the side from the front. Sowmy Sarkar, can be seen as the most inconstant player in Bangladeshi line up. Bangladesh defeated New Zealand in the last game of tri series. Bangladesh and New Zealnd are playing in the same group for the mega event.

Cricinfo Predictioins England VS Bangladesh Predictions

England to win

England to score over 300 if they bat first.

ICC Champions Trophy: India Vs Bangladesh-Live scorecard

All eyes on Rohit ahead of champions trophy

India started on a good note in pursuit of defending title. India is all set to utilize its second warm up game. Rohit Sharma, who joined team late, will be cynosure of the match. He is playing an intl game after recovering from an injury. Ajinkya Rehane is also not in a great shape. Despite scoring couple of fifties, Rehane had a poor IPL by his standards. Indian won against NZ by Duckworth Lewis method in the first warm up game. Indian players will hope rain stays away so that batting line up get good practice. Yuvraj Singh, who didn’t take part in first warm up, is still doubtful to play . India cannot be complacent against Bangladesh. Bangladesh has been performing consistently in limited over cricket.

Warm up game Prediction

India to win

Rohit Sharma to top score

Being aggresive doesnt work in England

Kedhar jadhav, Indian wicket keeper, has arrived in England. He is expected to take part in warm up game against Bangladesh. He also said his opinion playing in England. He said taking agressive approach might not be good one in England. He also said batsmen had to work hard for every run

Can India live up to expectations

Its been two years since kohli took over test captaincy from Dhoni. He has been a very successful captain with wins both at home and away. He has been back bone for team in both the years.Usually Captaincy effects a players performance. Captaincy has shown impact on Virat’s performance also. But in a positive way. He is a different player when he dons captaincy. Dhoni recently gave up captaincy in limited over cricket. Dhoni decision can be said as wise he didn’t want push kohli’s in to pressure. Kohli completely lead Indian side for DI’s series only once. But it was successful too. ICC champions trophy is completely a different ball game. Especially in knock out stages.

Qualifier 2: MI VS KKR Live score

Both team will play for a final berth against RPS. Mumbai ended in top position and gained a lifeline .They utilized the lifeline and play against KKR, who won against SRH, in rain effected game. KKR won against SRH in a rain effected game. KKR needed 48 runs in six over’s according to Duckworth lewis. Skipper Gautham Gambhir ensured kkr chase to be successful though they struggled at the top. Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn and Yusuf Pathan fell for cheaply in rain effected game.

History in Mumbai’s Favour

Two teams played against each other on twenty occasions. Fifteen are won by Mumbai Indians and rest are by KKR. Mumbai Indians will try continue their Dominance while KKR will look to avenge their loses in league games. Chinnaswamy stadiun, which hosted eliminator one, will also host this match. Chances of rain are very high. Mumbai will move forward in any case match gets abandoned due to rain as Mumbai finished higher in the league stage. Both teams have won the title twice before.

Mumbai

In an unusual manner Mumbai started their season on hih. they won 9 in the first 11 matches they played. They finished at the top with 10 wins. Giving away 41 runs in two over’s against RPS in qualifier one hugely dented their chances. Bowlers have to perform in Mumbai are to gain in final match. They might replace Karn Sharma with Harbhajan singh in this match. Pitch is inclined to spinners. one should not be surprised if mumbai will play the match with two spinners. Their pace attack is strong with MCclenighan ,Malinga and Bumrah.

Can KKR carry on with their Momentum

Gautham Gambhir is the second most leading run scorer in this year IPL. He sacrificed his place to Sunil Narine and the move is successful one. HE provided the team with starts whenever the team required. Their bowling is weakling.

Cricinfoscores Predictions

MI to reach final.

Chris Lynn to top score in this match.

Jasprit Bumrah to receive man of the match.

Eliminator: SRH VS KKR- Live score

  • Eliminater of IPL 10.
  • Sun Risers will face Knight riders for qualifier 2’s berth.
  • Chinneswamy will host the eliminator.
  • Warner is the top scorer of the tournament with 604 runs.
  • Bhuvaneswar kumar holds the purple cap with 25 wickets.

Journey of both the teams are quite similar. Both of them have started their season with a bang and slowed down in the middle stages and finally struggled to reach play offs. Both the teams are juxtoposed with 8 wins. Sunrisers have won more point, from the washed out game against RCB. So we cannot distinguish a clear winner among the two. Sunrisers, defending champions, look very strong in bowling department with the likes of siddharth kaul, Adil Rashid and Bhuvaneswar kumar. But, KKR’s batting seems to be powerful enough to counter it.

Head to Head

KKR and SRH have played against each other on 11 occasions. SRH lead the tally with 7 games in their kitty. SRH trail by 4 wins. In this edition ,both the teams won against each other once.

Team Composition

Yuvraj Singh, Who didn’t play in last game, Is yet to prove his fitness. So Vijay Shanker, who justified his inclusion, might get an another opportunity. Ashish Nehra is completely ruled out of the tournament with ankle injury. David Warner is strength in SRH’s batting. It can be seen as weakness as they are relying too much on him. Not enough contributions are coming from Dhawan, Moses Henriques and Yuvraj singh. Kane Williamson might strengthen their batting ,but at an expense of all-rounder.

KKR

Sunil Narine opening the batting is a huge boost for KKR. This move will denitetely make their batting line up look deeper. Chris Woakes is uncertain to play this game. All hopes are on Kuldeep Yadav, Sunil Narine and Umesh Yadav.

Cricinfoscores Predictions

  • SRH to win.
  • David Warner to top score.
  • Back team chasing first.

Playoffs: RPS Vs MI Live score

  • Mumbai will face Pune in the first Qualifier.
  • Teams will have another chance if they lose.
  • Pune will play in the playoffs for the first time.
  • Dhoni will be playing Playoffs for the ninth time.

Stage is set for Inform teams of IPL. Top two teams, Pune and Mumbai, won a life line by winning top two positions in IPL. This kind of format will definitely increase the confidence levels in the teams to come in tip two positions. Winning teams will straight away go in to final of IPL10. Though Pune struggled in the initial stages of IPL, they came came back strong under the leadership of Steven Smith.

Winning team will play final at Upal. Losing team will another chance to check their luck against winner of eliminator. Unavailability of stokes in this crucial match will be a big blow for RPS. Once loss is one’s gain. This is definitely a a big relief for Mumbai.

Balanced Mumbai is definitely looking strong, at least on paper. Ambati Rayudu has also proved his touch in the match against KKR. But, he might lose his place you Nitesh Rana, who played exceptionally well in the groups. With all rounders like Pollard and Pandya brothers ,Mumbai is hot favorites to reach the final. Mumbai will start their bowling with Mitchell Mclenighan and Lasith Malinga. Bumrah will share the onus of death bowling with Hardhik Pandya. Jaydev Unakdat(21) is leading wicket taker for RPS. Dan Christian and Shadhl thakur also impressed with their bowling.

Experiance might favour Mumbai.

Mumbai are two time champions. Their core team has played at least ten knockout matches. On the flip side, Pune never played a play off. But, Dhoni has featured in 17 playoffs matches. Nest most experienced team in RPS is Rajat Bhatia(4).This is T20 cricket, anything might happen. Let us see how much experience factor will play.

Cricinfoscores Predictions

MI to win the game.

Lendi Simmons to top score.
